Ravioli rotary limit switch Driver FRM series has been designed and manufactured to offer a very versatile product that can be customized according to the customer's wishes.
A wide range of reduction ratios is available from 1:1 to 1:900 and, thanks to the 3 internal rotation axes, it is possible to choose different number of turns for each output.
The internal fingerproof contacts have positive opening and quick release, in order to increase safety, and can be 1NO 1NC in deviation or independent and contemporary.
Together with the contacts, it is also possible to apply a series of sensors inside them.
Driver FRM safety rotary limit switches, already used for yaw and pitch control in wind turbines for the production of renewable wind energy, have also received suitability for salt spray corrosion tests according to EN ISO 9227:2006 and resistance tests to humidity under condensation of water vapor according to ISO 6270. This positive result gives the product the possibility of being safely applied even on offshore wind turbines.
Upon request, it is currently possible to mount the KST absolute single-turn sensor on the FRM limit switch, in combination with the contacts. Thanks to its ability to provide and store a value for each position within 360° of rotation, it is the perfect ally in applications in industrial opening systems such as speedy-doors, folding doors, gates, sectional doors and automation in general.
